Personalised Care and Support Lead

As a Lead Gastrointestinal Cancer Care Specialist at Harrogate District Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and support to patients with Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills, working closely with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
You will be responsible for implementing effective care and support plans, ensuring timely access to treatment and meeting the complex needs of patients. The post holder will be part of the local diagnostic multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with the tertiary centre to ensure seamless patient pathways.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with relevant experience in Upper GI Cancer. Leadership and management experience, good communication skills, and advanced communication skills training are essential for this role.
