Company Overview:

KOS International Limited is a global cryptocurrency trading and asset management platform with a newly established UK office in Cambridge.

Estimated Salary:

£80,000 - £120,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the company's risk management policies and procedures, with a focus on cryptocurrency-specific risks.
  • Monitor and assess the company's risk exposure in the cryptocurrency market, and formulate effective countermeasures.
  • Design and execute risk assessment models and tools to identify and quantify potential risks in the crypto space.
  • Assist in developing the company's risk management strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the cryptocurrency sector.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish risk control measures and supervise their implementation, especially in the context of cryptocurrency transactions.
  • Regularly report to senior management on risk management status, including specific insights into cryptocurrency market risks, and recommendations.
  • Participate in risk training and education programs to raise employee awareness of risks, particularly those associated with cryptocurrency.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial risk management, with a proven track record in managing risks associated with cryptocurrencies.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets and products, especially as it pertains to cryptocurrency markets, with strong risk identification and assessment capabilities.
  • Native proficiency in Chinese, both written and verbal, as the role will involve frequent communication with teams based in China.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with different departments across different geographical locations.
  • Proficiency in using risk management tools and software, including those specific to the cryptocurrency market.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management, especially within the cryptocurrency space.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with risk management certifications related to cryptocurrency (such as FRM, PRM) or those with demonstrable expertise in this area.
