The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing high-quality care to children, teenagers, and young adults with cancer. We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric and TYA team, based in our Sutton hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • To assess and prescribe complex wheelchair and seating needs, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • To supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting their professional development and ensuring they meet the required standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced occupational therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our service. You will have the chance to work with a supportive team, access ongoing training and education, and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with significant postgraduate clinical experience in oncology. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £63,000-£73,000 per annum, depending on experience.
