About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Oncology Clinical Practitioner to join our team at King's College Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

As an Advanced Oncology Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with cancer and related conditions
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, ward rounds, and patient reviews to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and maintain referral guidelines and policies for the service
  • Manage medical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in cancer or acute care
  • Experience in service development and implementation of change
  • Advanced physical assessment skills, non-medical prescribing qualifications, and advanced communication skills training
