About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Budwood, a leading provider of residential care and support to children and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small team to deliver individualised care packages and support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic programmes and activities.
  • Participate in regular clinical and professional supervisions to ensure ongoing learning and development.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with emotional behavioural difficulties.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including sleep-ins, and to cover sicknesses and annual leave.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and to accept direction and guidance.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people and their families.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or a related field, or be willing to work towards a required qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as this role will involve travelling.
