About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Practice Quality Advisor to join our team at One Care (BNSSG) C.I.C. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your clinical expertise and passion for quality improvement to make a tangible impact in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with CQC standards and regulations, providing guidance and support to GP practices to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for GP staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Identify areas for improvement within practices and develop strategies to address them, including protocols, policies, and training needs.
  • Monitor the implementation of improvement plans and take proactive steps to maintain traction and reinvigorate as needed.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Capacity to communicate effectively with others, employing skills to motivate, negotiate and influence.
  • Able to use skills to encourage innovation and collaborative working.
  • To take responsibility for own professional development and maintain an appropriate level of registration (if needed).

About Us

One Care is the GP federation that represents and supports practices in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). We have 77 member practices across the area who provide healthcare for around 1 million patients. Our vision is to enable general practice to survive and thrive. We are a Community Interest Company, focused on delivering benefit for our practices.

We offer direct support to practices with many different aspects of running their day-to-day businesses through our Practice Support Team. We also support practices to work at scale at PCN, locality and BNSSG-level, holding contracts on their behalf as required and offering relevant expertise in areas such as digital, analytics and communications.

This role is being offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months based on 15 hours per week. For full details please refer to the attached job description.
