Job Summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Digital Service Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a high-quality digital support service, ensuring robust processes and procedures within the following areas: Service Desk, Systems Support, Data Quality, System Configuration, Release Management.

Main Duties

As the Digital Service Delivery Manager, you will provide advanced support to all aspects of work relating to the delivery of a high-quality digital support service. This will include:

  • Leading clinical safety investigations and contributing to clinical safety assessment reviews within the remit of digital systems
  • Leading and managing multiple teams to deliver business and clinical critical digital systems
  • Managing multiple projects/priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Working in partnership with multiple stakeholders to achieve common objectives and delivery of high-quality services

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of leading clinical safety investigations and contributing to clinical safety assessment reviews within the remit of digital systems
  • Experience of leading and managing multiple teams to deliver business and clinical critical digital systems
  • Significant experience of working at a senior manager level in the NHS, with hands-on delivery and management of complex systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyse, interpret and resolve issues
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal, listening and written skills
