We are seeking an experienced Trading Analyst to join our team at Drax Group. A key role in our Trading and Optimisation team, you will work closely with traders to drive value and inform decision-making.

About the Role:

  • Provide robust fundamental analysis to support trading strategies.
  • Develop and maintain models to inform trading decisions.
  • Review past analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Own pricing tools and trading-decision models.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in a numerate subject (science, maths, economics, engineering).
  • Have experience with statistical and fundamental modelling using SQL, Python, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Be familiar with the UK power market and have experience with power generation units.
