Senior Colorectal Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Colorectal Surgeon to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Colorectal Service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including the management of urgent colorectal cases.
- Contribute to the development of our Colorectal Service, including the delivery of clinical governance and continuing medical education.
- Participate in the management of the Department of Surgery, including the sharing of responsibility for the colorectal service with other Consultant Colorectal Surgeons.
- Ensure full submission of data to the Somerset database, in line with national recommendations.
- Contribute to the teaching and development of medical staff, medical students, and other hospital employees.
