Your Role

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering strategic outcomes. This involves developing and implementing business development strategies to maximize profitable revenue, new business acquisition, and increasing wallet share from existing clients.

Key responsibilities include day-to-day management of networking and events, development of key accounts, intermediaries, panels, and partnerships to support growth. The role also involves preparing presentations, business cases, and proposals to support growth opportunities and the launch of new propositions.

Additional duties include tracking all relationship activities and pipelines in CRM to drive growth, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks in our relationships. A strong understanding of the Group's legal and financial services and products is essential to promote and sell the Group's services to external clients and contacts.

About You

  • Proven experience of working in a business development/sales role – legal sector is desirable
  • Relevant degree or CIM qualification is desirable
  • Passionate about change, process improvement, and outstanding client service
  • Proactive and engaged in the external market, developing relationships with clients, contacts, or intermediaries
  • Able to interpret and use data in decision making as well as considering the bigger picture and impact of activities and opportunities for the Group
