Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop precise demand forecasts leveraging historical data, market trends, and collaboration with our Brand, Community, Growth, and Operations Teams.
  • Utilize our demand planning tool and innovative techniques to craft short-term and long-term demand plans.
Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • E nsure stock availability for each location, taking into account storage charges, rate of sale, upcoming promotions, warehouse constraints, and more.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze and interpret data related to demand patterns, customer orders, and sales performance.
  • Provide regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and demand trends to key stakeholders.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with Growth, Brand, Supply, Logistics, and Community teams to gather insights on promotions, product launches, and changes in market conditions that may impact demand.
  • Lead and present the weekly demand planning meeting to Senior Leadership.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the demand planning and supply chain functions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in forecasting accuracy, planning tools, and inventory management.
Supply & Demand Alignment:
  • Coordinate with the Supply Planning Manager to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production and procurement plans.
  • Address and resolve any demand-related issues that may affect supply chain operations.
Demand Planning Systems:
  • Utilize and maintain demand planning software and systems.
  • Ensure system data integrity, including input, maintenance, and updating of demand plans and inventory metrics.
