Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Huddersfield, £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project costs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost plans for social housing projects
  • Monitor and control project costs
  • Manage variations and claims
  • Compile and submit project reports
  • Liaise with clients and contractors
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Significant experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite)
