We are looking for a highly skilled Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join our team at Leeds Bread Co-op. As a quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of construction projects, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Client-side Quantity Surveying elements of construction projects, with a proven track record of delivering Capital programmes and portfolios of projects from inception through to completion. You will be working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Client-side Team, developing and maintaining relationships with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial and administrative aspects of construction projects.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Relevant experience associated with the role.
  • A proven track record of working on the delivery of Capital programmes and portfolios of projects from inception through to completion.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work in a high profile and demanding environment, working to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to work flexibly as an individual and part of a team.
  • The ability to travel independently to and from locations away from the office such as construction sites or consultant's offices.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £43,693 – £45,718 per annum, plus a retention payment of £3000 per year, reviewed annually. You will also enjoy a range of benefits including up to 33.5 days annual leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and access to our Cycle to Work Scheme.
