About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Take responsibility for admitting and clerking patients, developing investigative and management plans under senior guidance.
  2. Initiate timely interventions when patient conditions worsen, escalating concerns to senior colleagues as necessary.
  3. Ensure comprehensive handovers of patients during duty changes, particularly before and after night shifts.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans, adhering to consultant instructions and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  6. Conduct ward rounds, contributing to diagnosis discussions and preparing detailed discharge summaries.
  7. Pursue ongoing professional development, staying updated on best practices in surgical care.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £42,008 per annum, along with enhancements for working nights and weekends.
