Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded specialist school in North London.

The Role:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to each student's needs
  • Support students with daily activities and personal care when required
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each child
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a special school or similar setting
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification, are desirable but not essential
