We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse to lead our team in delivering high-quality care to neonates and their families. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining clinical leadership and management in the care of neonates and their families. Your role will involve providing clinical and managerial support relating to the provision of neonatal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the nursing team in the delivery of effective quality care, following a patient-centred model of practice, in accordance with local, Service Line and Trust policies and guidelines.
  • Assisting the team leader in the administrative management, supervision and support of a team of nurses and ancillary staff.
  • Participating in Network NICU service development.
  • Initiating evidence-based practice and actively participating in neonatal research.
  • Contributing to resource management in the provision of neonatal services.
  • Engaging in Clinical Governance initiatives within the Directorate.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse to take on a leadership role within our team. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for maintaining clinical leadership and management in the care of neonates and their families, and will be expected to provide clinical and managerial support relating to the provision of neonatal services.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in neonatal intensive care at Band 5.
  • Demonstrable experience of teaching & mentorship.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Enhanced clinical practice skills.

Qualifications:

  • Neonatal Qualified in Specialty.
  • First Level Qualification - RGN, RSCN, RN Child Branch.
  • Current Registration with NMC.
