About the Role
">This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of perinatal intensive care specialists at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. As a Registered Neonatal ICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our neonatal unit.
">Job Summary
">You will be responsible for assessing children, identifying nursing problems and needs, and working in partnership with families/careers to provide individualized care. You will also assess risks to children, recognize vulnerable children, and respond appropriately in accordance with Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as needed.
">Main Responsibilities

- To carry out comprehensive assessments of infants with predictable and complex needs, safely transporting and admitting them to SCBU as required.">
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each infant.">
- To maintain accurate and detailed records of infant progress, including assessment findings, interventions, and outcomes.">

Person Specification

- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Unit within the last 2 years.">
- Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices.">
- Possession of a Degree/Diploma in Nursing and Statement of NMC Registration.">
