About the Role

This role involves providing high-quality patient care in our adult critical care unit. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as mentoring and developing clinical expertise.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and delivering high-standard nursing care based on evidence and best practices.
  • Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals in the multidisciplinary team.
  • Mentoring and supervising healthcare assistants.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, relatives, and outside agencies.
  • Reporting and documenting all relevant nursing/patient needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of working in an acute hospital setting.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing critical care nursing services.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic patient records.
