Care Coordinator for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities

We Support LTD is an established Supported Living provider dedicated to providing a creative, happy, and secure environment for young people with learning disabilities across Cheshire and Trafford.
Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting one Female Support Worker/Team Leader to join our team within Winsford. As a Care Coordinator, you will work as part of a Female Team of Support Workers to provide person-centered care to young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health and social needs.
Responsibilities- Provide support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities; assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Work as part of a Female Team of Support Workers to provide 24-hour support services where staff will work with the same person/people each week in the same house to build a strong, trusting, and caring relationship
- Support individuals with learning disabilities who may demonstrate challenging behaviors
- Assist with recording and communicating with team members
- A full clean UK driving license is required and use of your own vehicles with business use insurance (essential)
- Demonstrable experience working within a similar setting
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge and experience working as a support worker with young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
- The ability to promote a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals
- Up to 5.6 weeks of holidays per year (including bank holidays)

The estimated salary for this role is £30,059.00 per annum, plus excellent benefits. The salary includes a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour, plus £50 per sleep on average 38 hours per week and 2.33 sleeps per week.
