Technical Director - South West

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our South West team at Access Talent Group, specializing in transport planning and highway design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development, with expertise in S38 / S278 design.

About the Role
This is a senior leadership role that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our South West team. You will be responsible for managing projects, developing staff skills, and generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects across a wide range of transport planning and/or highway design areas including site feasibility, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and site access design including S38 / S278.
- Develop and manage a team of skilled individuals, providing guidance on project delivery and staff development.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand existing relationships with clients and local authorities.

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Transport Planning, with expertise in one or both of S38 / S278 design works areas.
- Proven track record in winning and delivering projects, with excellent client relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in developing and managing teams.
