Permanent Benefits and Money Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Benefits and Money Advisor to join our client's team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to customers on managing their finances and accessing benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a proactive and preventative customer-focused income management service, ensuring customers receive the best possible advice and support.
  • Increase benefit awareness and promote benefit entitlements, helping customers to maximise their income levels.
  • Provide training and advice to colleagues on welfare and benefit advice, ensuring a high level of expertise across the team.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to address these.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in benefits and money advice, with a strong understanding of welfare benefits and financial inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting customer needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance.
