Job Overview

The role of Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the dynamic team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Frailty Service, you will be responsible for providing strategic nursing leadership and clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care to patients with frailty.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and industry standards for similar roles within the NHS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the Frailty Service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care pathways.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
  • Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Promote evidence-based practice, staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in frailty care.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
  • Registered Practitioner, NMC or HPC registered
  • First level degree in related subject
  • Masters degree In Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Advanced communication skills training
  • Evidence of successful completion of relevant clinical courses e.g. advanced assessment skills, independent prescribing
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification
  • Leadership course
