Post Service Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to fill the position of Post Service Assistant. As a Post Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their mail and packages promptly.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist our courier drivers with their daily tasks, including loading and unloading mail and packages from vehicles. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of deliveries and returns.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent customer service skills.
About You
- You must have previous experience in a similar role or be willing to learn quickly.
- You should be physically fit and able to lift heavy packages.
- You will need to have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
What We Offer
- A competitive monthly salary of £12,540.
- Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate.
- 22.5 days holiday per year, rising with length of service.
- Full uniform provided.
- Company pension scheme.
