About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Manager to join our team at the Royal Society of Literature. As a key member of our Communications department, you will play a vital role in shaping our digital presence and engaging with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation and Delivery
    • Develop and implement a content strategy to increase engagement and reach across our digital channels
    • Collaborate with our Programmes team to create and edit engaging content for our website and social media platforms
    • Manage and maintain our website, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to grow our audiences and drive engagement
  • Digital Systems
    • Work with our Head of Communications to update and maintain our website, ensuring it reflects our organisation's work and values
    • Ensure the smooth running of our online events booking system
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Analyse data to measure the success of our campaigns and inform future communications
    • Provide insights and analysis to inform programming decisions and measure performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of digital communications and content creation
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Passion for the work of the Royal Society of Literature and a commitment to our values
