The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Learning and Development Administrator to join our team at RES. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering effective implementation of all Learning and Development administration & training events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the internal learning management system (The HUB) and ensure data accuracy and query management within the agreed service level agreement.
  • Coordinate Learning and Development programs, including HSQE, induction, business skills, leadership and management development, technical skills, apprenticeships, IT, and Sponsored Education programs, liaising with relevant training coordinators within the business.
  • Ensure compliance with HSQE training matrices by organizing all relevant training and renewing training when applicable.
  • Organize Learning and Development programs by booking courses with internal and external providers, venues, inviting delegates, monitoring responses and attendance figures using the internal learning management system (The HUB), and ensuring that providers and delegates have all necessary training material and equipment on the day.
  • Monitor attendance levels across all programs.
  • Update and maintain employee training records using The HUB.
  • Assist the People & Culture Partners/Talent Acquisition Team with the arrangements for People & Culture specific training, HR for Managers Workshops, New Starter Networking Events.
  • Assist the wider People & Culture UK&I team when required.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the training cycle from learning needs analysis to evaluation is useful but not essential.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to work in a busy open-plan environment and within a team.
  • Experience in organizing training events and working in HR teams.
  • Experience in working in a shared service is desirable.
  • Qualified or part in CIPD is desirable.
