Senior Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a Senior Business Growth Manager to lead our Net Zero Strategic Accounts portfolio at the National Composites Centre.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to drive business growth, develop strategic relationships, and contribute to our mission.
- Develop strategic direction to accelerate business growth through technology, capability, and service offerings.
- Forge strong relationships with senior leaders across industry, government, academia, sector networks, and stakeholders.
- Ambassador for the NCC in business and industry initiatives, recognized for impactful thought leadership.
- Inform national and sub-national industrial strategy and investment decisions with the Director for Strategy and External Affairs.
- Develop targeted external sector campaigns to grow the business and customer pipeline.
- Commit to developing the talents of the wider organization.
This role drives high-priority projects and secures funding needed to deliver them.
- Strong leadership experience, commercial acumen, and a track record of driving business growth through a customer-centric approach.
- Strategic account management and innovative commercial partnership constructs.
- An ability to forge excellent relationships and strong networks across the energy sector, including government, industry, academia, and international.
- Data-driven decision making and stakeholder insights to inform strategy development and underpin business growth.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven track record in navigating senior stakeholders.
We offer hybrid working as standard, annual salary reviews, company-paid private medical insurance, employer pension contribution, great people, and honorary staff status at the University of Bristol. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £95,000 - £115,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
