Senior Business Development Director

Quest Search and Selection Ltd is partnering with a fast-growing B2B online publication to find an experienced Account Business Director.
This role is focused on creating and selling integrated packages, including white papers, social media, display advertising, thought leadership content, email marketing, and event sponsorship. The primary focus will be on establishing new business connections and retaining existing ones within the largely untapped supplier sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed revenue and key performance indicator (KPI) targets consistently.
- Conduct market research to become a centre of knowledge in all areas.
- Interact with clients via video calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Utilise LinkedIn, sales navigator, ZoomInfo, and lead generation reports to aid outreach efforts.
- Develop brilliant listening and questioning skills to understand client business needs and requirements.
- Create bespoke and targeted proposals to meet client needs.
- Regularly communicate with key clients during events and agenda planning.
- Accurately report pipeline and revenue forecasting from proposals to pitches to signed deals.
- Ensure return and repeat business through effective negotiations and proposals.
- Accurately report activity via the Salesforce CRM.
