About the Opportunity

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) line of business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standard serviceability testing, fault finding, and repair on RADAR, Defensive Aids Sub-System (DASS), and Avionics equipment.
  • Liaise daily with the CMF Manager, Bay Lead, and Logistics team to understand priorities for repair activities.
  • Work with the management of the UK aspect of the spares supply system and consumables, highlighting any deficiencies to the CMF Manager, Bay Lead, and Logistics team.
  • Meet all contractual and local requirements associated with Governance, SHE, Training, and general good engineering practices.
  • Identify and report risks and opportunities for the business, its operations, and support to subsequent activities.
  • Provide support drafting and compliance of Maintenance Approved Organisation scheme (MAOS) Approved documentation.

  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, with the aptitude to learn new skills while striving for excellence in engineering.
  • Ability to work under broad direction, with minimal supervision, in challenging technical environments.
  • Manage workload in pressurized environments, across multiple tasks, ensuring a quality output to meet customer demands.
  • Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute and adapt to change and continuous improvement.
  • Adept an innovative approach.
