We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council. This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid working environment, where most of the work can be undertaken either in the office, at home, or at another suitable location.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering projects and business change initiatives across the Council, working closely with Project Managers and senior managers within the Finance section. You will also provide administration support to senior managers and contribute to personal and professional development opportunities.

This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, ability to assess problems from multiple angles, and comfortable working with various forms of data. You will also need to have an interest in change and improvement in a business setting.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of undertaking research and analysis, both independently and as part of a team, and an aptitude for problem solving. You will also have good communication and writing skills, able to present information clearly and effectively for a range of different audiences.
