Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council provides early help, prevention and intervention services across Ceredigion County, covering Lifelong Learning and Skills, Leisure & Wellbeing, Early Intervention Services, Support and Prevention Services, and Ceredigion Pupil Referral Unit.

We are seeking a dedicated Health Improvement Specialist to join our team, based in Ceredigion County. As a key member of our Wellbeing Centre Service, you will be responsible for delivering and monitoring Exercise Referral pathways in your local area.

You will create opportunities to support older adults in engaging in physical activity, plan, coordinate and deliver health intervention programmes and support in designated areas or communities.

  • This includes developing and implementing Exercise Buddies, Walking for Wellbeing, and Pre-diabetes initiatives.
  • You will also support the Wellbeing and Improvement Objectives by providing targeted and open access provisions throughout the county and in partnership with key stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this role is around £27,000 - £33,000 per year, depending on experience.
