Crisis Mental Health Specialist

Cardiff & Vale University Health Board is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team in the Crisis Recovery Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver community-based care services to individuals experiencing mental health crises, working closely with clients and their families to provide holistic support.
- Monitor and review treatment plans, including medication and psycho-social interventions, to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Develop and maintain specialist skills and knowledge to reflect the evolving needs of our service.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews and meetings to ensure effective admission and discharge planning.

Requirements
- MH Nurse BA Degree (accepted)
- Knowledge of Psychological Intervention (essential)
Working Arrangements
This role is based in the Crisis Recovery Unit, which operates 7 days a week. The successful candidate will work in a caring and compassionate manner, supporting clients and their families in acute crisis.
The estimated salary for this role is £34,000-£41,000 per annum, depending on experience.
