At Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Birstall. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the 4 on 4 off day nightshift pattern and contribute to the success of our Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Assistant Service Manager in liaising between service reception and the workshop on repair.
  • Ensure that the right technician has been allocated the right job.
  • Control and monitor the progress of the repair/service through to completion.
  • Maintain high levels of quality on all work produced by the service department.
  • Ensure that all service paperwork is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards.

Requirements:

  • Commercial technical background or similar is essential.
  • Good communication skills (internally and with customers).
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Able to problem solve.
  • Extremely well organised.
  • Able to prioritise effectively.
  • Current HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Computer skills advantageous.
