At Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department in Birstall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Assistant Service Manager in coordinating between service reception and the workshop on repair assignments.
- Ensure that the right technician is allocated the right job, and monitor the progress of repairs or services through to completion.
- Maintain high levels of quality on all work produced by the service department, and ensure that all service paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards, and maintain a positive working relationship with customers.
Requirements:
- Commercial technical background or similar is essential, with qualifications such as City & Guilds part 1 & 2, BTEC, or IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
- Commercial experience within a workshop environment or similar environment is essential.
