At Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department in Birstall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Assistant Service Manager in coordinating between service reception and the workshop on repair.
  • Ensure that the right technician is allocated the right job.
  • Monitor and control the progress of repairs and services through to completion.
  • Maintain high levels of quality on all work produced by the service department.
  • Ensure accurate completion of service paperwork.
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards.

Requirements:

  • Commercial technical background or similar is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
  • Able to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Highly organized with effective prioritization skills.
  • Current HGV license advantageous but not essential.
  • Computer skills beneficial.
