At Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department in Birstall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Assistant Service Manager in coordinating between service reception and the workshop on repair.
- Ensure that the right technician is allocated the right job.
- Monitor and control the progress of repairs and services through to completion.
- Maintain high levels of quality on all work produced by the service department.
- Ensure accurate completion of service paperwork.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards.
Requirements:
- Commercial technical background or similar is essential.
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
- Able to work independently and problem-solve.
- Highly organized with effective prioritization skills.
- Current HGV license advantageous but not essential.
- Computer skills beneficial.
