About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Life Skills Facilitator to join our team at Inspire Neurocare. As a Life Skills Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

Our residents have a wide range of needs, and as a Life Skills Facilitator, you will work closely with our nurses and therapists to develop and implement personalized care plans. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks, as well as assisting with therapy sessions and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Assist with therapy sessions and activities, promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality and dignity at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care or rehabilitation setting, preferably with a focus on neurorehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of residents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
