Job Summary:
The Site Safety Officer will be responsible for partnering with a site operations team in a fulfillment center to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with site operations teams to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis to inform business decisions.
- Instruct and train operations leaders in company safety policies and assist in incorporating safety standards into site operations.
- Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies to continuously improve safety standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety or ME in Industrial Safety Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required.
- Experience in private or government organizations.
- Flexibility regarding shifts.
- Master's degree preferred.
