We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team at Coventry Building Society. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with business areas to maintain and improve our enterprise data assets through data catalogues, data stewardship, and data quality management.
- Support continuous improvement through process optimisation and engagement with corporate projects.
- Meet with stakeholders to understand the wider business need for data and business definitions that ensure data can be consistently and appropriately used across the Society.
- You will have experience working with data governance, data policies, and data quality management.
- You will be able to engage with stakeholders, manage and collaborate with them, and question and challenge to gain buy-in through key working relationships.
- You will have experience in data analysis across a range of sources, including relational, dimensional databases, file systems, semi-structured and unstructured data, models, and spreadsheets.
- You will be familiar with data catalogues/metadata management solutions, such as Collibra.
- Understanding of data governance.
- Exposure to implementing data policies, principles, and standards in accordance with a data governance framework.
- Stakeholder engagement, management, and collaboration with an ability to question and challenge, put forward new ideas, and gain buy-in through key working relationships.
- Experience in data analysis across a range of sources.
- Data catalogues/metadata management solutions.
