Purpose
As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of data governance within our organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will contribute to the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data. You possess a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices, and you thrive in collaborative environments. Your analytical skills enable you to identify trends, assess risks, and propose solutions that enhance data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business units to maintain and enhance our enterprise data assets through data catalogues, data stewardship programs, and data quality management initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes and actively engaging in corporate projects that impact data governance.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure that data definitions are consistent and aligned across the organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of data governance concepts and frameworks.
- Experience in implementing data policies, principles, and standards within a data governance framework.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and effectively communicate complex technical information.
