We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs Support Professional to support children and young people with Autism and associated needs at Academics Ltd.

The role involves working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a specialist school based in the Swanley area, supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and complex needs.

This is a long-term permanent position to start immediately, offering a competitive salary of £23,500 - £25,000 per annum. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher and other supporting staff to provide a therapeutic environment and approach for children with SEN.

Key responsibilities include focusing on supporting young children with Special Educational Needs, working alongside the Class Teacher and other supporting staff, and providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students.

To be successful in this role, you will have teaching assistant / SEN experience or any experience with learning difficulties, childcare, healthcare, or nursing. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring pupils get the most from their education and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
