Early Years Teaching Assistant Job in Greater Manchester

Your new school is seeking a qualified nursery nurse to join their staff from January and work in the school nursery. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the EYFS and be able to make learning fun and engaging for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering EYFS activities
  • Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and record child development, making observations and providing feedback to the class teacher
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery and reception class teams to plan and deliver a cohesive curriculum
Requirements:
  • NNEB qualification or NVQ level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent
  • Experience in planning activities and working with young children
  • Good understanding of the EYFS and ability to make learning fun and engaging
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
