Early Years Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Liverpool.
The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, promoting a love of learning and encouraging exploration through play.
This is a two-form entry school, where the nursery and reception classes work closely together, sharing planning and resources.
We are looking for someone with:
- A NNEB qualification or NVQ level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent
- Experience in planning activities that promote learning and development
- A good understanding of the EYFS and its principles
- Ability to make observations and monitor child development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with younger children
