Our client, Islington Council, is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their Transitions and Progression to Adulthood Team.

Social Work Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working with young adults aged 18-25 who have a learning disability and are Care Act eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Care Act Assessments and creating support plans.
  • Undertaking safeguarding responsibilities, including statutory work.
  • Managing cases and providing oversight as required.

This role requires flexible working arrangements, with most visits and meetings taking place in person. You will be expected to spend around two days per week in the office.

Requirements and Benefits

To be successful in this role, you must hold QSW status, including qualification and Social Work England registration. Additionally, completing an ASYE is essential.
