Job Description:
Senior Ecologist Job DescriptionAs a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in our team, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality ecological projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Project Delivery:
- Manage and deliver ecological projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Oversee and coordinate fieldwork, including protected species surveys, habitat assessments, and ecological monitoring.
Team Support:
- Mentor and support junior ecologists, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Business Development:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities and growing our client base.
Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, planning policies, and environmental standards.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a car allowance, good pension scheme, health insurance, paid memberships, and extra day off on your birthday.
