About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Health Visitor. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess the health and wellbeing of children and families
  • Develop and implement health promotion plans to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and families
  • Provide education and support to parents and carers on health and wellbeing topics
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of health policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration for nursing or midwifery
  • DipHE (or above) qualification equivalent to 120 credits at level 5 (of the Higher Education Credit Framework for England)
  • Experience of working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
