We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health Visitor to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality health visiting services to children and families in our community.
Main Responsibilities- Provide health advice and education to families and individuals, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.
- Conduct developmental assessments of babies and children, identifying areas of concern and developing tailored support plans.
- Work with families to address issues such as postnatal depression, parenting skills, and children's home situations.
- Establish and address key health needs, referring to and liaising with other relevant organizations as necessary.
- Assess parenting skills and children's home situations, offering parents further support as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, GPs, and school nurses, to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Person Specification- Current NMC registration
- Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training
- Recent health visiting experience
- Ability to co-ordinate health promotion initiatives in line with local and national health improvement targets
- Experience of assessing, planning, and implementing programmes of care and writing support to others
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to client and organisational needs
