Energy Sales Manager

Ener-Vate is seeking a highly skilled Energy Sales Manager to drive customer connection sales and lead the customer journey from initial contact to signed connection agreements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple customers and stakeholders, reporting pipeline progress, and managing associated back-office support functions to drive the sales process.

- Manage multiple customers and stakeholders, reporting pipeline progress and managing associated back-office support functions.
- Proactively engage with customers to ensure high-quality data is gathered as per client contract requirements.
- Sales of different types of customer agreements, dealing with multiple types of customer entities.
- Ensure high-quality data provision, working with the customer and in line with client contract requirements.
- Review opportunities to filter those with higher likelihood of success and low barriers to entry with the Head of Network Development.
- Lead on contract performance reporting where Ener-Vate is providing sales support to external parties.
- Demonstrable experience in sales and sales management, managing senior-management level relationships.
- Experience of developing and executing Stakeholder Management Plans.
- Experience in direct customer contract negotiation, understanding of trade-off strategies, price/cost bounds, and red lines.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple customers, conflicting demands, and deadlines through effective time management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills for a variety of customer types and forums.
Salary: £42,500 - £50,000 depending on experience. Home-based with occasional travel to our offices in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester.
