Job Summary

This senior role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in luxury hospitality management, boasting a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth. As a key member of the Front Office team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the overall performance of the Front of House operation, ensuring seamless delivery of service excellence and exceeding guest expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service Excellence: Continuously monitor and improve the guest service approach, quality standards, and product offerings to position The Berkeley as a market leader in luxury hospitality.
  • Service Strategy Implementation: Work collaboratively with the Group Reservations function to anticipate client needs and preferences, ensuring effective delivery of service strategies that drive guest satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Conduct regular inspections of each departmental area and the property to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, recommend preventative maintenance where necessary, and identify major needs for repair or action.
  • Amenities and Recognition Programs: Develop and maintain a valued amenities program and guest recognition initiatives that foster loyalty and retention among our discerning clientele.
  • Departmental Objectives and Goals: Establish and achieve short-term and long-term objectives for the Front of House Division, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide effective leadership throughout the division, cultivating a strong team culture and ethos that supports high levels of guest service delivery, effective communication, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, a deep understanding of the industry, and a proven ability to deliver results-driven solutions. We seek an individual with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment, coupled with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
