About the Role

Fife Council seeks an experienced professional to lead the Gypsy Traveller Team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will oversee site managers, contribute to process development, and improve outcomes for tenants while respecting cultural needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Gypsy Traveller Site Managers
  • Develop and revise related processes and procedures
  • Liaise with partner services and agencies
  • Represent Fife Council nationally and share best practices
  • Work closely with the Project Team on site improvements

Requirements

  • SCQF level 8 qualification or equivalent
  • Considerable experience in Housing Services
  • Performance management and supervisory skills
  • Able to support change and innovation
  • Familiarity with Scottish Government and COSLA joint Action Plan
