At Children's Parliament, we are seeking a visionary leader to drive our organisation's strategic direction and champion children's rights in Scotland.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in inspirational leadership, financial management, and team development, with a deep understanding of the political and policy landscape in Scotland.

As Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of children's human rights, working closely with partners, stakeholders, and policymakers to influence legislation and practice.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A passion for children's rights and the belief that children are valuable and equal citizens.
  • A deep understanding of the political and policy landscape in Scotland, with the ability to quickly gain credibility in the human and specifically children's rights space.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, local authorities, and third-sector organisations.
